New Release | The Handpicked Collection 7
12TH JUNE 2026 - ASU #529
What if some of the world's most beautiful needlework was assembled to form a special series of collections that showcased each piece in the most beautiful way possible?

Here at Inspirations Studios, we know a thing or two about collections.
First, there was a collection of 100 magazines that formed the world-renowned Australian Smocking & Embroidery series.
Then came arguably the most famous needlework how-to collection ever made - the A-Z Series, consisting of 20 in-depth books covering every needlework technique you can imagine.

After that came the world's most beautiful and most popular embroidery magazine, Inspirations, which is up to 130 issues and counting.
Now we have the Handpicked Collection that is fast becoming a coveted series with stunning needlework, lush page layouts and every fibre on full display.
Did you know that every Handpicked Collection features brand-new, never-before-seen projects?
These are not a ‘best of’ series drawn from our existing catalogue - although that would be a lovely idea too! - every Handpicked project is an original, handpicked for the collection

Which brings us to our announcement - an all-new Handpicked Collection is launching today. Number seven.
The cover alone should tell you everything you need to know. Lush with bramble and blossom, studded with berries in every stage of ripening and presided over by a jewel-bright emerald moth, it is an image that practically hums with life, enticing you in to explore further…
The Handpicked Collection 7 brings together extraordinary projects by some of the world's most accomplished needlework designers, spanning an exceptional range of techniques, finishes and traditions.
Here is what awaits:
Bramble Garland & Emerald Moth by Jane Nicholas. A lush circular garland of blackberries, blossoms and buds, alive with the enchanting lifecycle of the emerald moth - as featured on the front cover.
Daffodil by Di Kirchner. A spectacular needlelace daffodil graces the corner of a fine linen handkerchief - the perfect gift for a bride or the ultimate pocket square.
A Bee in the Greenhouse by Trish Burr. A magnificent honeybee presides over a garden of soft yellow blossoms in this utterly captivating study in whitework with colour.
Heart of Mine by Hannah Mansfield. A breathtaking beaded lace heart - intricate, romantic and shimmering with crystal - that belongs in a love letter as much as a frame.

A Pocketful of Flowers by Noriko Livingstone. A charming drawstring pouch blooming with roses, violets and daisies, finished with a cascading beaded fringe.
Winterbright Hellebore by Anna Scott. The most welcome flower of the cold season, rendered in exquisite detail against a background scattered with sparkling crystal beads.
Attic of Dreams by Jackie du Plessis. Making her Inspirations debut, Jackie du Plessis presents a delightfully dainty stitching étui shaped like a basket of flowers - pretty enough to display, practical enough to treasure.
Decisions, Decisions! by Helen M. Stevens. A wonderfully characterful red squirrel, caught in a moment of delicious indecision among the pinecones of an autumn forest.
