More about this digital file
Description
Worked using many of the favoured techniques of Jacobean crewel embroidery, flowers, fruit and nuts encircle a vibrant dragonfly, its wings shimmering with pearl and confetti gold metallic threads.
More than thirty different stitches and sixty-six shades of stranded cotton are used to create this delightful design, making it an excellent canvas for trying new techniques and an ideal place to experiment with colour.
